Reformers of the Early 20th Century
READ ALL OF THESE DIRECTIONS BEFORE BEGINNING!
- Open Chrome
- Go to docs.dpsnc.net
- Follow the authentication directions on the login screen (see below).
- You may have to complete an additional authentication step if you have never used your Google Drive before. Just follow the directions on the screen.
- Be sure that you are logged in before continuing to the next steps. If you are logged in, your email address will be visible in the upper right corner and your Google Drive will be open.
- There should be group document in your Drive. It will have the Abolitionist's name, your teacher's name, and either Group A or B. If not, let Mrs. G or your teacher know immediately so that we can get you added to a group.
- Open your collaborative document. Read the question(s) that have been added each day.
- ASK for CLARIFICATION, if you need it, before using the resources below to help you formulate your answer. Please note, these questions require you to think about what you are reading/viewing and to put information into your own words. In other words, DO NOT copy and paste your answer!
- You may not erase any other group member's work. You may how ever reference their ideas in your own response. For example, "I agree with… because" or "I disagree with… because." Be mindful that your teacher and I can pull up ALL activity on the document. That means everything you add and erase is recorded and can be accessed. Keep your notes academic in nature (i.e. don't chat or deface the document).
- Use the following resources to start your research:
NCWiseOwl
(Use the "Student Research" tab on the left; you can narrow your search by resource type.)
Worldbook Online
(Be sure to investigate external website links if any are provided.)
